An exciting food and drink scene has developed in Eryri | Snowdonia and North Wales in recent years!
With both the mountains and the sea in close proximity to each other you will discover during your holiday some of the best food, produce and ingredients that Wales is famous for.
Whilst the location of our B&B in the heart of the region means you are never too far from excellent places to eat and drink here.
So whether you want a traditional Welsh pub or inn serving real ales and home-cooked food; a Michelin star restaurant creating amazing dishes; or a cool cafe for coffee and cake - there really is something for everybody.

We also try to include the best places to eat that we know make an effort to cater for vegetarian, vegan / plant-based, coeliac and gluten-free diets.

Reservations
Note that demand is often high and many pubs and restaurants - both locally and further afield in North Wales - are busy throughout the year (especially at weekends and during the summer season)
We recommend that you plan ahead and make dinner reservations where possible to avoid any disappointment.

At Llyn Crafnant above Trefriw there is also the Llyn Crafnant Cafe in a beautiful location right on the lake in Eryri | Snowdonia National Park - it is a lovely walk to it from our door!

Whilst the village butchers (right opposite our B&B) is also a grocery store and sells excellent picnic provisions made on the premises, including their famous pies and sausage rolls!

Modern, stylish and very friendly licensed restaurant open for dinner (5-9pm), and serving the best fish and chips (including gluten-free options) and gourmet burgers.
Yr Hen Danerdy / The Old Tannery
(open 9am-4.30pm - THURSDAY to SUNDAY)
Great coffee, cakes and lunches and super friendly service from Mandy and colleagues. It has an outside balcony that offers fantastic views across the valley. We are regulars!
Snowdonia Bikes is conveniently located underneath for e-bike hire.

Famous photogenic tearoom dating from 1480, in a picturesque location on the west bank of the River Conwy
Deli, cafe and wine shop opposite each other in Llanrwst, with the latter having an amazing selection of wines, beers and Welsh spirits - a good option for a picnic lunch or maybe wine and nibbles for dinner. Well worth a visit!

Cute little tea room in a courtyard with indoor and outdoor seating, next to the tourist information office, offering great home-made cakes, coffee and lunches - try the ‘bacon and banana’ toastie!!!
